We undertook the project management and coordination for the integration of the Meteora–Pyli Geopark into the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network, overseeing all required actions and stakeholder engagement throughout the candidacy process. Our services included overall project coordination, monitoring timelines and deliverables, supporting the collection and organization of documented evidence, and facilitating communication with institutional, and local stakeholders. In parallel, we managed the administrative and organizational preparation of the candidature dossier, ensuring compliance with UNESCO standards.The project aimed to highlight the geological significance, cultural heritage and sustainable tourism value of the Meteora–Pyli region through a coherent and internationally competitive nomination framework.
